To bring you back up after that last post, here is more recently unearthed hotness. Classic house, and from New Years 1993 no less. I love this era of house, and I'm happy to have found this tape. I'm also going to start scanning the actual tapes this stuff comes off of, just because it's funny to see them these days. [EDIT: I went back and scanned in some more tapes, so if you are into the whole historical thing, flip back through the posts]
So after a little apartment rearranging, a box of tapes re-surfaced. Most stuff I have already encoded (or quickly put back) but I started listening to some unlabled tapes. This particluar one is a pretty good mix, and it has some really funny shout-outs and commercials (don't worry I trimmed out the boring ones). Keep your ears out for the no longer existing 'El Dorado Gentlemans Club' spot - and 'double-jointed' wednesdays!
