To bring you back up after that last post, here is more recently unearthed hotness. Classic house, and from New Years 1993 no less. I love this era of house, and I'm happy to have found this tape. I'm also going to start scanning the actual tapes this stuff comes off of, just because it's funny to see them these days. [EDIT: I went back and scanned in some more tapes, so if you are into the whole historical thing, flip back through the posts]
Continuing the super-old-school-vibe - This is the 'first' mixtape I ever got, dubbed in sophmore year of high school 1989. Dubbed from my man Chip I. - this tape is has been a major influence over the years. The sound quality is pretty bad, but hey, it's 17 years old! (please listen past the beginning, it is worst then) Back then, it was all about this tape, SUBHUMANS, and Public Enemy.

at the beginning, pure weirdness!! I also love the Meat Beat Manifesto track in this one.
